Sooooo, theoretically, if I had just stumbled upon a storage facility that belongs to my department, and that storage facility happened to be filled with hovercarts, would you hypothetically allow me to host a hovercart race in one of the shuttle bays?

Hypothetically, why not? People could use a distraction other than fight club, especially after last jump.

It's dangerous, stupid, and is going to get someone killed or break what we've fixed. Some idiots already tried it in the gardens and set a fire.

Which is why I'm not about to try it in the gardens. Look, these things top out before they even get to twenty miles per hour, and it looks like only people from the Support department can actually drive them. That means forming teams and ensuring everyone's accountable to each other. We can easily set up barriers to keep them on a course away from the shuttles, and I can make sure everyone's clear on safety rules. Of all the ridiculous things we might do out of boredom, this is rates pretty low on the insanity scale.
