We leave leftovers in the fridge, so if you can't make it there usually is enough to raid to make a decent meal that way, too.

I can adjust my schedule -- my cat needs to eat too, after all, so I can go to dinner and get his stuff together around the same time.

Can I ask a favor-- bring the cat with you, if he's good with people? Animals are a great way to make people feel at ease.

--I was training to be a therapist, back home? Not with animals, specifically, but it doesn't take someone who works with therapy animals to know pets bring something out other people can't, sometimes.

There aren't a lot of therapists back home. Not that I'm aware of.
